    • This raffle is conducted under Arizona's charitable raffle exemption (A.R.S. § 5-513) by St. John the Evangelist Orthodox Church.
    • Online raffle entries are limited to legal Arizona residents at least 18 years of age, and are sold exclusively through this page — not at the festival itself.
    • Odds of winning depend on the total number of raffle tickets sold. Winner need not be present to win, and will be drawn and announced on October 24, 2026 at approximately 9:00 PM.
    • The $100,000 fundraising goal is a target, not a guarantee, and does not affect the drawing. The drawing will occur on the scheduled date even if the fundraising goal is not reached.
    • Raffle ticket purchases are not tax-deductible charitable donations. If you'd like to make a tax-deductible gift instead, please use the "Support the Parish" option above.
    • If the prize is $5,000 or more, IRS rules require the church to issue the winner an IRS Form W-2G and withhold 24% of the taxable winnings for federal income tax, which is remitted directly to the IRS. The winner is responsible for any additional federal, state, and local taxes — consult your tax advisor.
    • More entries increase your odds but do not guarantee a win. All sales are final except as stated in the Official Rules, available at stjohnaz.org/fallfest.

Yes. This raffle is conducted under Arizona's charitable raffle exemption, A.R.S. § 5-513, by St. John the Evangelist Orthodox Church.

The drawing happens on the scheduled date regardless of whether the $100,000 goal is reached. The prize is 50% of whatever eligible sales total is reached.

No. A raffle ticket purchase is not the same as a charitable donation. If you'd like to make a tax-deductible gift, use the Support the Parish option.

If the prize is $5,000 or more, IRS rules require St. John to issue you an IRS Form W-2G and withhold 24% of the taxable winnings for federal income tax, which is sent directly to the IRS. You're responsible for any additional federal, state, or local taxes — please consult your tax advisor.

Refunds, reversed payments, or disputed charges void the associated entries and remove them from the drawing pool, per the Official Rules.

You'll receive them by email (and text, if you opted in) immediately after your payment is confirmed, and they'll also be shown on your confirmation page.
